Identity management deals with identifying individuals and controlling their access to the resources in a system by placing restrictions on the established identities. The Identity Management Auditor Project or the IMA Project provides a one click concept to audit this Identity Management.

The IMA Project provides audits for the following:
MS Windows Active Directory: Users, Groups, Shares, Services and Password Audits (Windows LM and NT Hashes)
MS SQL Server : Users, Roles, Permissions, Databases and Password (SQL200x Hashes) Audits

In addition to the above, it also performs full password assessments and quick assessment including NULL or trivial passwords for MS Windows, Active Directory and MS SQL Server. It is composed of several dedicated modules (MS Windows, Linux, HP-UX, IBM AIX, MS SQL Server, Oracle and each module allows you to retrieve users list, group members, password hashes, etc. and others specific information.

The IMA Project also includes utilities such as LM2NTCRACK, John the Ripper, SQL2KTO2005CRACK & a password generator. It also has a good result export function, where in all the findings can be exported to .XLS file.

It works on the Windows platform and .NET framework 2.0 SP1 and above is needed. The author also might release the source code for this application, which has been coded in C#. Though it is in Beta v0.2 it did work as per our requirements. It also has two versions.

You can download IMA-Full-Beta-v0.2.zip here and IMA-Lite-Beta-v0.2.zip here.
