CAINE – Computer Aided Investigative Environment

New in forensics? Want some help? Try Caine! (Computer Aided Investigative Enviornment). It has a nice front end using WinTaylorforensic frontend basically for Windows environment.All tools are compatilble with IE , Which makes it more simple to use. Supports NTFS partison analysis. You can even boot it from text if you are finding any difficulty in loading GUI. For FireFox lovers, you have firefox3.0.6. Gtkhash is used as frontend for hashing files. by default it will start Firefox with the list of tools and a brief utilization manual.
